As the weather warms up, the local lavender crop begins to form blossoms! Our own Hill Country Lavender Farm will open for the 2018 season on Friday, MAY 25th. At this time, lavender bloom is predicted to begin at the end of May. Look for lavender bloom updates on the Hill Country Lavender website:  http://www.hillcountrylavender.com/

Farm hours : FRIDAY & SATURDAY 10 AM – 4 PM & SUNDAY 12 PM – 4 PM

Be sure to check out the events at Hill Country Lavender and other local farms during the 14th Annual Blanco Lavender Festival in June.

Meanwhile, you’ll find a full line of Hill Country Lavender products at Brieger  Pottery, year round.

An enjoyable weekend, with several local farms participating. About the Artist:

Internationally known artist and teacher, Billy Ray Mangham, has spent over 30 years creating, selling, and teaching art. In the last 10 years, Billy Ray Mangham and Beverly Mangham, have established a vibrant learning environment for the creative arts and artist studios at Eye of the Dog Art Center in San Marcos, Texas.

We are very excited to have Billy Ray Mangham’s new work on canvas at Redbud Cafe for this show inspired by Texas Musicians. Billy Ray’s paintings will be on display and available for purchase through the end of May, 2018.
